Hawkins, Inc. supplies products essential for our country’s health and safety throughout the United States, including drinking and wastewater treatment, power generation, food manufacturing, ag production, pharmaceutical manufacturing and much more. As such, our business has been deemed part of our country’s essential critical infrastructure by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency. With this designation, the agency states that we “have a special responsibility to maintain our normal work schedule” so that we can continue to deliver our much-needed products to our customers.
As states have issued various “stay-at-home orders”, because of our essential status, all of our employees have stayed on the job. Even under these orders, we are allowed to operate all aspects of our business. Our operations–from customer service to warehousing and production to delivering the product–have all been exempt from the restrictions. Hawkins has been in full operation throughout the COVID-19 outbreak and we plan to continue to operate throughout this outbreak and beyond.
